What this means for you

  • Your transfer is made by a regulated bank or dealer, named on your order before you pay.
  • You pay the partner directly from your own bank account — remittance money never passes through GoRemit.
  • The rate comes from the partner; your quote shows the rate, charges, GST and TCS separately.
  • Using a partner is voluntary — we tell you which one handles your purpose and why.

University payment platforms

Some universities collect fees only through their own platform: Flywire, CIBC, Convera. We guide you through the platform's payment page.

Common questions

Why not send money through GoRemit directly?

RBI rules allow money changers to buy and sell foreign exchange but not to send money abroad. Transfers must go through an authorised bank or dealer, which is why we work with partners.

Does GoRemit earn from the partner?

Yes, we receive a referral fee from the partner. It does not change what you pay — your quote shows the full cost.
