Book online in 5 minutes: upload documents, add the receiver, then pay the bank by UPI or net banking. Nothing is paid to GoRemit.

What the receiver in UAE must give you

  • Receiver's full name
  • IBAN (23 characters, starts with AE)
  • Bank name and SWIFT code

Check the details with our SWIFT, IBAN and bank-code checker before you book — a wrong digit is the usual reason a transfer is delayed or returned.

Purposes and documents

PurposeKey documents
University feesFee invoice or admission letter, student passport, PAN
Student living costsAdmission letter, student passport and visa, PAN
Supporting a close relativeProof of relationship, PAN, address proof
Gift to a close relativeProof of relationship, PAN, address proof

The sender and the receiver can never be the same person for a family or gift transfer. The partner bank has the final say on documents.

Studying in UAE

Many Indian students study at UAE branch campuses. Fees are paid in dirhams to the university's UAE account against the fee invoice.

Good to know

  • Every UAE bank account has an IBAN — always ask for it; transfers without one are delayed.
  • Remittances are for the purposes allowed under LRS — family maintenance, gifts, education, medical treatment. Investment in UAE property has its own rules; ask us first.

Who sends the money

Aabhushan Forex & Jewels Private Limited is an RBI-licensed money changer and does not send money abroad itself. Your transfer is carried out by RBL Bank Ltd or another of our authorised partners; you pay them directly and the money never passes through us. See how we keep your money safe.

Common questions

How do I send money to the UAE from India?

Book the transfer online with GoRemit: choose the purpose, enter the amount in UAE dirhams and upload your documents. Once we check them, you pay our partner bank directly from your own account and it sends the money by SWIFT.

How much can I send to the UAE?

A resident individual can send up to USD 2,50,000 a financial year under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme, across all banks and money changers together.

What does it cost?

The exchange rate, the partner bank's charges, GST on the conversion and any TCS — all shown in the quote above before you pay. GoRemit charges you nothing for arranging the transfer.

How fast does money reach the UAE?

Usually the same or next working day after our partner bank sends it.
