Book online in 5 minutes: upload documents, add the receiver, then pay the bank by UPI or net banking. Nothing is paid to GoRemit.

What you need

  • The fee invoice, offer letter or university portal page showing the amount due and the payment details
  • Student's passport, PAN and admission letter (I-20 for the USA, CAS for the UK, CoE for Australia)
  • The payer's PAN and bank statement — the student, or a parent or close relative paying from their own account
  • Loan sanction and disbursement letter, if paid from an education loan

How the payment goes

Your payment is made by Flywire, CIBC, Convera, or a bank transfer through Prithvi Exchange (India) Limited or Thomas Cook (India) Limited — we confirm which before you pay. You pay the partner directly from your own bank account by UPI, net banking or NEFT; the money never passes through GoRemit. We prepare the transfer, check the documents and share the SWIFT copy or the platform receipt with you.

Make sure the full fee arrives

Choose "all charges paid by sender" (OUR). Without it, an intermediary bank may deduct a fee and the university receives less than the invoice — and may hold the enrolment until the shortfall is paid.

TCS on education payments

Paid from an eligible education loan: no TCS. From your own funds: nothing up to ₹10 lakh of LRS in the financial year, then 2% above it. TCS is credited to the payer's PAN and adjusted in the income-tax return. Our TCS calculator shows the amount in advance.

Common questions

Can a parent pay the fee?

Yes — the payer can be the student or a close relative such as a parent, paying from their own account. The payer's PAN is used for LRS and TCS.

Can I pay fees in cash or by forex card?

No. University fees must go by bank transfer or the university's payment platform.

How long does it take?

Usually one to three working days after the partner sends it. Pay well before the university's deadline.
